Lilian Schwerdtner was born in Zurich, grew up in Southern Germany and lives in Berlin. In the intervening time, she has studied philosophy, sociology and a wee bit of gender studies, political science and psychology in Münster, Vienna, Berlin and Vilnius. Since #metoo, she is concerned with sexualized violence both in theoretical and activist terms and is part of the Berlin based collective Actions against Rape Culture. Since 2020, the collective produces the podcast Not your Opfer, which is meant to support those affected by sexualized violence and share empowerment strategies. Besides, Lilian is interested in the philosophy of psychiatry and the psychiatrization of society, respectively.
