Sebastian Friedrich, born 1985, is an author and journalist living in Hamburg. He has published books with Edition Assemblage and Bertz+Fischer Verlag, writes for the weekly newspaper “Der Freitag,” the monthly “analyse & kritik,” works as a freelance author for the ARD magazine “Panorama” and makes radio features, for example for NDR and Deutschlandfunk. Since the 2019/20 season, he has been curating a series of events at the Berliner Ensemble. He focuses on the rise of the right-wing, the development of capitalism, class politics, discourse analysis, ideologies and subjectivation, and how everything is changing.
